<B>1796 10C --Eagle Tooled, Improperly Cleaned--NCS. XF Details.</B></I> JR-4, R.4. A slate-gray example with slightly deeper toning on the stars and central reverse. The eagle has been strengthened, particularly on the wings and tail, probably because it was softly struck, although Liberty's curls have excellent and original definition.
