<B>1796 10C AU58 NGC.</B></I> JR-6, R.3. On the obverse, a die crack connects the numerals 179 in the date with a branching crack from the rim through the 9 into Liberty's neck. An additional crack passes through star 8 into Liberty's hair above the center dot. On the reverse, a die crack from the rim at ten o'clock extends between the letters ST in STATES to the eagle's neck. Beautiful orange, lilac, and steel-blue toning graces this problem-free and partially lustrous near-Mint dime.
