The reverse die is identified by the arrangement of nine berries left and eight right. This die was mated with two obverse dies, the present variety having star 15 beneath the bust point. The other variety, B-4, BB-14, has star 15 above the bust tip. Unclashed, as usual. The surfaces are charcoal-gray overall with silvery-gray accents over the highpoints of the design. There are a couple of vertical planchet flaws on the breast of the eagle, several faint adjustment marks on the right side of the obverse, and a minor bruise on the obverse rim at 5:30. Given the sharpness of detail on Liberty's hair and the eagle's wings and tail, expect strong collector competition when this piece reaches the auction podium.
