<B>1795 S$1 Flowing Hair, Three Leaves--Cleaned, Scratched--ANACS. VG10 Details.</B></I> B-5, BB-27, R.1. The variety is confirmed by a diagonal bar at the uppermost hair curl that points toward star 5, seven berries on the left branch and six on the right, and paired berries below first T of STATES. Light silver-gray surfaces reveal fine hairlines under magnification. Three nearly vertical linear marks on Liberty's portrait at first glance look like adjustment marks, but were apparently engraved with a sharp object.
