1795 H10C MS63 PCGS. V-4, LM-10, R.3. An early striking that exhibits prominent obverse clash marks, but lacks the cud over the TY in LIBERTY seen on late dies examples. This shimmering beauty has iridescent aquamarine borders and dove-gray devices. The reverse field is salmon-pink. Sharply struck at the borders, with moderate softness on the eagle's breast and upper right (facing) wing. Minor adjustment marks crisscross the portrait, but this mint-made feature is only visible when viewed beneath a loupe. A lovely example of the introductory Flowing Hair type, which was struck only in 1795, although the March 1795 delivery bore a 1794 date.
From The Essex Palm Collection.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
