Half Dollars 1795 Flowing Hair. Overton-102. Very Fine 35. <b>Coin is graded Extremely Fine 40 by Accugrade and displays attractive medium gray patina known as "old silver". Close inspection reveals a few tiny marks on the reverse involving the C in AMERICA, and what may be some light graffiti removal above Liberty's head. Half Dollars were first coined at the mint at Philadelphia in 1794. The design with Liberty's hair streaming out behind her to the left was used only on the dates 1794 and 1795 and has been assigned to Robert Scot, the mint's early engraver-designer. In all there were 299,680 1795-dated halves struck from a number of die pairings.</b> <p align="center">Superior Galleries was founded in 1929 and has been a leader in
