<B>1795 50C 2 Leaves XF45 NGC.</B></I> O-119, R.4. On the obverse, the diagnostic elongated die defect lump is visible above the point of star 15 and the point of the bust, and the die crack seen on most specimens from the edge through star 15 to the bust is only apparent between the edge and lower star point on this example. On the reverse, the I in UNITED is recut, a die defect line extends from the tip of the left (right facing) wing to the top-right of the E in AMERICA, and another travels straight out from the wing tip to join a defect line from the top left serif of the R in AMERICA.<BR>Light silver-gray patination, imbued with traces of powder-blue and lilac, covers semi-bright surfaces. The design elements display relatively sharp delineation, particularly in Liberty's hair strands, and on most of the eagle's wing, tail, and leg plumage. The dentils are complete on both sides.
