1795 50C 2 Leaves Fine 12 PCGS. O-121, High R.4. The attachment of star 1 to the left base of the first curl, the Y of LIBERTY punched over an errant star, a recut CA in AMERICA, and the connection of the lower leaf to the lower right serif of the left stand in the last A in AMERICA confirm this very scarce variety.
Semi-bright, silver-gray surfaces display whispers of olive-tan at the margins of this Fine example. Some definition is apparent on Liberty's jaw line and hair strands, and on the eagle's internal plumage, and all of the dentilation is visible, except for that along the right obverse border. Both sides exhibit remarkably clean surfaces, and are devoid of adjustment marks.
Haseltine-18; Beistle 18-P; Overton-46; Hilt 11-E; PCGS# 6052; Encyclopedia-4554.
Ex: Alpine Numismatics (10/2003).
From The Westmoreland County Collection of Early Bust Halves, 1794-1807.

Coin Engraver: Robert Scot

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
