<B>1795 50C 2 Leaves Fine 12 NGC.</B></I> O-124, R.5. Star 15 has a point touching the bust below its tip or point. A small fish-shaped die flaw beneath the lowest outside right berry identifies this scarce variety. Struck from moderately clashed dies. The profile and wingtips are cream-gray in hue, light silver-gray color fills the centers, and the borders offer somewhat deeper olive toning. A thin area of slightly grainy surface appears beneath the I in LIBERTY, and a couple of minor marks appear on the lower right obverse quadrant, but the overall appearance is unblemished for the Fine grade. Listed as R.5, but not all varieties at this rarity level are equal in importance. In the past 10 years, Steve Herrman recorded nine auction appearances of this variety.
