1795 1C Talbot, Allum & Lee Cent MS64 Red PCGS. Fuld-1, Breen-1035. The 1795 Talbot, Allum & Lee cent is available by the standards of Early American coinage, but among those that have survived in Mint State, most are toned brown. Red and Brown examples are rare, and full Red pieces are practically unheard of. The present piece has slightly mellowed in olive hues on the lower obverse, but orange-red is plentiful, particularly on the reverse. Listed on page 72 of the 2008 Guide Book.
