<B>1795 $1 Flowing Hair, Three Leaves AU50 NGC.</B></I> B-5, BB-27, R.1. The single most populous 1795 Flowing Hair dollar die pairing, distinguished by a lowest curl that stays clear of star 1 and a Three Leaves reverse. Its relative availability makes it a type collector favorite, and it is the Three Leaves variety that appears most often in a generalist's collection.<BR> Both sides of this attractive example show soft remnants of luster beneath delicate patina. The luminous surfaces appear gray-gold on casual inspection, but closer investigation reveals remarkable interplay between the gray-gold base and significant violet, tan, and rose accents.
