<B>1795 1/2P Washington Liberty & Security Halfpenny, BIRMINGHAM Edge AU58 NGC.</B></I> Baker-31B, R.5. A rare variety compared to the usually-seen LONDON edge. Golden to medium brown with a smooth reverse and a few faint to moderate obverse marks. Washington's head and the lower portion of the shield are weakly detailed, characteristic of the issue.
