<B>1794<H10C> MS62 NGC.</B></I> V-4, LM-4, R.4. This die marriage is quickly recognized by an arrangement of no outer berries and three inner berries beneath the eagle's left (facing) wing. Also unique to the reverse, a leaf is merged with the base of the I in AMERICA. This noticeably clashed Mint State representative is toned in pinkish-gray and turquoise shades. Only the obligatory softness on the eagle's wingtips and breast feathers is noted. First produced in 1794, Robert Scot's Flowing Hair Half Dime emulated his design of the similarly dated Half Dollar and Silver Dollar. This began the trend of uniformity among the silver denominations that would continue through the Half Dime's demise nearly 80 years later. Census: 4 in 62, 32 finer (11/05).
