1794 H10C AU58 PCGS. V-3, LM-3, R.4. The variety is attributed by: digit 1 of the date under the right center of curl 1, star 1 joined to the first and second curl, seven berries left and six right, with two inner berries and one outer under the right (left facing) wing, and a leaf that extends to the left side of the U in UNITED. This is the second and final use of this obverse, which displays a die crack from the rim into the field between stars 5 and 6, through the hair to the E in LIBERTY. Two diagnostic reverse cracks are noted in the lower right quadrant.
Ample luster is retained on silver-gray surfaces that are accented with blushes of electric-blue around the borders. The design elements are well centered on the planchet, and reveal sharp detail. Mentionable contact marks are absent from both sides; some faint, inoffensive hairlines on the obverse are mentioned for complete accuracy. A shallow planchet flaw that occupies portions of Liberty's cheek and chin aids in the coin's pedigree. A truly magnificent early half dime representative that is sure to generate spirited bidding.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
