<B>1794<1C> Head of 1794--Scratched--NCS. Fine Details.</B></I> S-27, B-9, R.5. Two leaftips are very close to the C in AMERICA, and the 1 in the date is distant from the lowest hair lock. A darkly toned and granular example of this much better variety. Several bold pinscratches cross the central obverse, and old parallel pinscratches are noted above and below ONE CENT. Two minor obverse rim dings are present at 5 o'clock. A small edge flaw at 1 o'clock is mint-made. EAC 3.
