<B>1794 1/2 P Talbot, Allum & Lee/Birmingham Mule MS64 Red and Brown PCGS.</B></I> Breen-1040, Fuld Mule 1. The 1794 Talbot, Allum & Lee obverse is muled with the 1793 Birmingham halfpenny reverse. The edge has the standard LONDON lettering. Although the Talbot firm was located in New York, these tokens were produced in Birmingham, England by Peter Kempson and Company. Several different mules are known, and all are scarce or rare. This lovely piece, with considerable mint red, is graced by pleasing bluish-brown toning on both sides. The fields are reflective and the overall eye appeal is excellent. The only Birmingham Mule certified as Red and Brown by PCGS.
