<B>1793 Chain 1C AMERICA, Periods Good 6 PCGS.</B></I> S-4, B-5, R.3. With Periods. A nice, clean, collector-grade example of this issue. The types are faint but readable, including the periods after the date and LIBERTY. The sole exception is OF, which requires an active imagination. The chain and denominator on the reverse are bold, of course, as always, and LIBERTY is also sharp. This coin appears to be an early die state, for the correction of the B to the R in LIBERTY is clear, as noted in the Breen reference. Some light planchet roughness is noted through the N's in ONE CENT, along with a couple of small obverse rim bumps at 4:30.
