The Sheldon-2 is actually the rarest of the four collectible Chain cent varieties, even though the S-1 AMERI variety is more recognizable to the casual collector. Despite moderate corrosion on each side, the detail is strong, especially on the reverse. The Chain motif is boldly defined with rounded links. The date, LIBERTY, and legend are all bold and complete.
