Each of the four die combinations are known in approximately equal numbers today, suggesting they were minted in roughly equal quantities in 1793. Both sides of this piece have glossy olive and steel-brown surfaces with old corrosion. This piece may have been lightly burnished at one time, but it presents a nice appearance.
