Tony Carlotto reported in his book on the Vermont coppers that this variety has been given its own nickname, the Ski Jump variety. A golden-brown piece with generally clear legends. This is a late die state with heavy die sinking at the center of the reverse. The example offered here may have been struck over an unknown host.
