<B>1787 1C Massachusetts Cent, Horned Eagle AU55 PCGS.</B></I> Ryder 2b-A, R.3. The popular Guide Book variety named for the unicorn-like die break or "horn" from the head of the eagle. This example alternates between chocolate-brown and mahogany-brown. Marks are minimal, and mint shimmer is detected across much of the borders and devices. Listed on page 57 of the 2008 <I>Guide Book</B></I>.
