<B>1787 1/2 C Massachusetts Half Cent MS63 Brown PCGS.</B></I> Ryder 5-A, R.3. Blended golden-brown and mahogany toning graces this impressively smooth commonwealth copper. The strike is slightly incomplete at the centers, but the remainder of the devices are bold. States were allowed to issue coinage by the Articles of Confederation, but this right was removed by the Federal Constitution.
