<B>1785 C Nova Nova Constellatio Copper, Pointed Rays, Small Date--Damaged--NCS. VF Details.</B></I> Crosby 2-A, R.5. Except for the contemporary counterfeit 1786, Crosby 2-A is the most desirable variety within the Nova Constellatio series. It is recognized by the awkwardly entered date. This medium brown example has a reverse plug at 12 o'clock with slight flattening opposite. Less worn than implied by the VF designation, although the centers are softly brought up.
