1783 TOKEN Georgivs Triumpho Token AU58 PCGS. Baker-7, R.3. The portrait perhaps more closely resembles King George III, but the Georgivs Triumpho is believed to be among the earliest Washington issues, perhaps commemorating the end of the Revolutionary War. Like most examples seen, the present piece has a large vertical die break in front of the standing reverse figure. It is a splendid and partly lustrous chocolate-brown near-Mint token without consequential marks or carbon. Listed on page 75 of the 2008 Guide Book. Population: 6 in 58, 1 finer (12/07).
From The Liberty Collection of United States Colonial Coinage.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
