<B>1783<TOKEN> Georgivs Triumpho Copper XF45 PCGS.</B></I> Breen-1184, Baker-7. Perfect reverse die and rarely seen in such an early die state. This example has lovely tan and chocolate brown color mixed together. It has been suggested that these were issued with the intention that they circulate regardless of who won the war, thus the obverse would represent King George if the British won, or George Washington if the colonists won. More recently, Walter Breen discussed further evidence, and pointed to the 13 vertical elements in the weaving loom on the reverse as proof that this issue was intended for America.
