SUPERMAN III (1983) - Pair of Production-Made Daily Planet Newspaper Covers - Two Daily Planet newspaper covers from the production of Richard Lester's Superman III. Metropolis' citizens read Daily Planet newspaper after Superman (Christopher Reeve) returned to normal, having defeated his darker self, as well as when he doused a fire at a chemical factory with a frozen lake.

These Daily Planet covers, both made for production but not seen clearly onscreen, are printed on black-and-white newsstock headlined "Superman Super Again!" and "Fire Destroys Chemical Factory Superman Saves Again," respectively. Unrelated articles are printed throughout both covers as filler. The pair exhibits some discoloration from age and horizontal and vertical fold lines from production. Dimensions: (each) 24" x 19" (61 cm x 48.25 cm)

Estimate: $1,000 - 2,000
