<B>1776 $1 Continental Dollar, CURRENCY, Pewter, EG FECIT XF45 Corroded, Uncertified.</B></I> Breen-1095, Crosby Pl. VIII, Newman 3-D, R.3. Newman 3-D is distinguished by the legend EG FECIT within the second ring. The EG stands for Elisha Gallaudet, and FECIT is Latin for "made it." A darkly toned piece with traces of 'tin pest' in selected areas. A few short and trivial pinscratches are found within the reverse rings.
