This magnificent letters patent issued by Emperor Joseph II of the Holy Roman Emperor speaks about collecting alms for the Franciscan Fathers in Palestine, naming representatives. It is on parchment with a beautiful royal paper seal intact. This letter is marked as having been sent during his "sixth year of rule" in 1770.
