A very scarce Chinese decalware in Blue & White, this large saucer of 6" across is from an archaeologically-dated wreck in the sea off Java. Made for the European market, so few of these have been found that it is suspected this was for the use of a crew member. Virtually perfect, it has some light sea-staining on the underside.
