1723 FARTH Hibernia Pattern Farthing, Silver MS64 PCGS. Breen-173, "very rare." Close DEI GRATIA. According to Breen, "About 20 pieces turned up in England, 1971," a quantity insufficient to satisfy the growing number of Early American collectors. Lovely orange-gold and ocean-blue endow this prooflike and needle-sharp Hibernia pattern. A small planchet flaw (as struck) in the field near the chin and a tiny roundish depression on the King's cheek are mentioned for the sake of future pedigree researchers. Listed on page 42 of the 2007 Guide Book. Population: 2 in 64, 3 finer (2/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
