Most commonly associated with the 16th Century Landsknecht mercenaries, the Zweihander required specialized training to use properly. Measuring approximately 67", the double-edged spear point blade is 50 1/2", with serrations on 20" and a pair of triangular spikes on the 7 1/2" ricasso. Dual quillion cross guard, 20" long with bell shaped guards and a pair of guard rings, 7 1/2" diameter with ball accents. Hilt section measures 16 1/2" from guard to ball pommel, with a ribbed hardwood grips. Overall weight is 9 pounds.

Condition: Fine. A few cracks are visible in the steel, with one just below the ricasso spikes, and some rust and pitting on the hilt. Grip shows mild chips and dents. Some artificial aging.
