Antique Tibetan gilt bronze figure of A Lama, seated dhyanasana on a double lotus base with hands in Dyyana mudra holding a kalasa, a vajra lying before him, wearing robes with a beaded border, flowing cape and peaked hat, traces of gilt. Measures 4 1/4" height (10.7cm). Total weight of 427 grams. Provenance: From an important St. Louis Collection. Sotheby's, New York, June 28 & 29, 1984 lot 457. Acquired by the Zeiser collection.
