<B>1688 Autograph Letter With British Military Content</B></I>. One page, 6.5” x 8.5”, Carlisle, October 8, 1688, from a captain Ralph Croft to William Blathato of the Horse Guards, London. In this letter Captain Croft seeks advice from Blathato as to whether he should remain in Carlisle or proceed to Hull to be with his company. The letter has been tipped in a paper folder, has toned a bit, and has the usual fold creases, else it is in very good condition. <I>Ex. Henry E.
