STAR WARS: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK (1980) - Set of 12 Printed Paul Huston Probe Droid Industrial Light & Magic Crew T-Shirt Silkscreen Designs - A set of 12 printed probe droid designs created by Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) model maker Paul Huston from the production of Irvin Kershner's Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Shirts silkscreened with Huston's illustration of a tap-dancing imperial probe droid were distributed to his fellow crew members.

This lot consists of 12 black-and-white copies used for the silkscreen production process printed alternately on paper and vellum. The prints show the evolution of the final illustration with differences in the size of the ILM lightbulb, the inclusion of the company name, and the jauntiness of the droid's dance. The set exhibits yellowing and bending throughout from age. Dimensions: (largest) 8.5" x 14" (21.75 cm x 35.75 cm)

Sold without copyright; see notice in the Buyer's Guide.

Estimate: $3,000 - 6,000
