Original, copperplate engraved map of KENT by Pieter Van den Keere. First published by George Humble in 1627 and known popularly as 'miniature Speeds', there were several editions up to 1676. The map, which shows in miniature, and in surprising detail, the county's rivers, hills and settlements. On the reverse, a printed description of Kent. Vintage mat board 6 1/4" X 7 1/2" surrounding the map.
