1672 vellum-bound book in Spanish entitled Reyno de Dios Compendio, y Medula de Toda la Corte Santa (Primera Parte), translated by Don Pedro Goncalez de Godoy from an original Latin text by the Very Reverend Father Nicolas Causino of the Company of Jesus, Confessor Louis XIII, King of France. 6" x 8"; 346 pages. Printed in Madrid by Ioseph Fernandez de Buendia, this primarily religious text features a gorgeous engraving of the family tree of Charles II of Spain in the front, the book itself in generally average condition with some marks and stains and loose binding but fully intact, curious handwritten ex-libris from 1896 in the back.
