Wonderfully illustrated with a number of beautiful, original copper-plate engravings; however, the large fold-out maps and oversized portraits have long since been removed and have been replaced by facsimile fold-out insertions in their proper and original order. All of the 674 &#40;plus print index&#41; pages are clean and bright with very minor normal edge toning. An original, complete edition with all of the maps is almost impossible to find outside of museums, and would easily sell within the &#36;50,000 to &#36;75,000 range.
