<B>1670-A<5SOL> French Colonies 5 Sols AU53 PCGS.</B></I> Breen-256, "Rare." Original medium gray patina covers this lightly marked and decidedly scarce silver issue. Long-reigning Louis XIV was known as the "Sun King," and it is appropriate that a small sun is depicted in the field above the king. Not fully brought up in the centers, as usual for the type. Listed on page 50 of the 2007 <I>Guide Book.</B></I>
