<B>(1670-75) FARTH St. Patrick Farthing XF45 PCGS.</B></I> Breen-218, martlet alone below king. Breen considered this variety to be very rare. A martlet is a heraldic bird without feet. This is a beautiful chocolate-brown farthing with a smooth and pleasing appearance. Minor die rust is of mint origin. The brass splasher is well centered on the crown.
