<B>1652 SHILNG Pine Tree Shilling, Small Planchet VF35 PCGS.</B></I> Noe-17, Crosby 22-L, R.3. 71.0 grains. The three Hain family examples weighed between 69.4 and 71.9 grains. A silver-gray piece with a boldly detailed tree. The legends are complete, although the G in ENGLAND and the H in MASATHVSETS is softly struck. A 4% ragged clip at 5 o'clock is of mint origin. A die crack (as made) from the upper left of the O in AN DO confirms a later die stage.
