<B>1652 6PENCE Pine Tree Sixpence XF40 NGC.</B></I> Noe-33, Crosby 1-A, R.3. A lavender-gray representative that has blushes of original olive-green color occasionally present in protected areas. The obverse is noticeably off center toward 12 o'clock while the reverse is well centered, as is the rule for the Noe-33 variety because of the die alignment. The obverse center (including the pellets that bookend the lower tree trunk) is typically struck, but the remainder of the obverse is sharp, as is the reverse. A couple of faint marks are visible under a glass near the denomination. The NGC insert incorrectly describes the variety as "No Pellets."
