<B>1652 6PENCE Pine Tree Sixpence MS63 NGC.</B></I> Pellets at trunk. Noe-33, Crosby 1-A, R.3. 35.2 grains. This lovely golden-brown example displays glimmering luster and lacks identifying marks. Well struck save for the left obverse near 9 o'clock, and opposite on the reverse near 3 o'clock. Noe-33 and Noe-33a are from the same die pair, and are distinguished by the obverse die alignment. Noe-33 is always misaligned toward 12 o'clock, although the usual mint-made straight clips give the obverse the appearance of misalignment toward 10:30. Late dies for Noe-33, since the slender die crack between the 1 and 6 is lengthy. Moderately wavy, as made from a rocker press.
