<B>1652 6PENCE Oak Tree Sixpence AU50 PCGS.</B></I> Noe-21, R.5. This scarce variety is characterized by the first S lacking its top and having been cut into the die backward. The W in NEW on the reverse is wide. This example is evenly struck and has light olive-silver toning. Unlike most Boston Mint coinage, the present piece is not wavy. Struck moderately off center toward 2 o'clock, taking a few upper right obverse letters partly off the flan. Each side has only wispy marks that are invisible without the aid of a loupe. Listed on page 37 of the 2008 <I>Guide Book</B></I>.
