HARRY AND THE HENDERSONS (1987) - Cable-Controlled Harry Mask - A cable-controlled Harry mask from William Dear's Harry and the Hendersons. The Henderson family struggled to keep their new friend a secret when they returned home from vacation with a Bigfoot they named Harry (Kevin Peter Hall).

Created by creature designer Rick Baker's Cinovation Studios, this latex Sasquatch mask is hand-punched with hair on the scalp and face, inset with acrylic teeth, and outfitted with numerous cable controls designed to operate the creature's facial features. The mask rests on an original production biscuit-foam headstand mounted to a wooden base. Also included its original bespoke production road case, which includes a sticker identifying the piece as a stunt mask.

Following production, this mask underwent sympathetic restoration and repainting to damaged foam latex on its nose, cheeks, forehead, and lips. As the latex remains brittle and stiff in some areas from age and exposure, this lot should be handled with caution. Dimensions: (largest) 18.75" x 19.75" x 25.5" (48 cm x 50 cm x 65 cm)

Contains mechanical components; see notice in the Buyer's Guide.

Estimate: $5,000 - 10,000
