<B>1649 French Account of the Death of English King Charles I.</B></I> Written by Francois Prevvaray and printed in Paris in 1649, this 8 page, 8vo (7” x 9”) French-language pamphlet describes the execution of England's King Charles I. Charles I was tried and convicted of Treason and “other high crimes” and beheaded on January 30, 1649. The pamphlet on offer has toned with age, there is a small portion of the top of the cover page missing, and there is an old pin holding the pages together, else very good. <I>Ex. Henry E.
