Casehardened number 0 action engraved with chain border, foliate scroll and game scenes: pointer and setter on sides and setter flushing a bird in a meadow. Ejectors. Automatic safety. Parker single selective trigger. Finely checkered replacement pistolgrip stock of highly figured walnut. Vacant silver oval. Skeleton buttplate. Drop points. Replacement beavertail fore-end with modified fore-end iron for pull rod. Tan leather leg of mutton case with straps. Note: The Parker Identification and Serialization Book states that this gun had 28-inch Titanic steel barrels, ejectors, splinter fore-end. Data: Barrel Dimensions: Bores: 0.678/0.677 inches. Chokes: 0.010/0.014 inches (Improved Cylinder /Modified). Chambers: 2 9/16 inches. Minimum wall thickness: 0.014 inches. (Gun is deemed unsafe to fire due to thin barrels). Stock Dimensions: Pull: 14 1/4 inches. Drop at comb: 1 9/16 inches. Drop at heel: 2 1/4 inches. Cast: None. Weight: 6 pounds, 14 ounces. Condition: Excellent, as completely redone. Showing little use after restoration. Barrels show 99% bluing. Excellent bright bore. Gun is deemed unsafe to fire due to thin barrels. Action shows 99% recased colors. Triggerguard shows 99% reblued finish. Stock shows a 3/4 inch shrinkage crack near the butt. Fore-end shows 99% recased colored iron and furniture. Restoration attributed to Del Grego. Case in good condition with some scuffing and wear to exterior.
