More than 800 colored loose gemstones and jewelry pieces to be added to this sale right up until the sale date. The total appraised value of all items will exceed $15,000,000US. Recent gemologist evaluations and appraisals are included with most items and are available on others with our gemstone guaranty. See listings and auction terms for details. This is a no reserve auction, the opening bid may be the winning bid and there will be no reserve bidding by the auctioneer. Opening bid amounts are as low as 1% of appraised value, possibly lower. Gem Guide wholesale prices, which are well below retail, are utilized in setting the pre-sale estimates. Most items with values of $20,000US or below have short-form gemologist evaluations which are upgradeable to the more detailed long-form. Additional photos and descriptive information will be added to the listings up until shortly before the sale, so review the catalog regularly. This sale will be broadcast on multiple venues so expect bidding competition and set your absentee bid range accordingly as well.
