115810880 This is a beautifully sculpted statue of a topless woman carrying two jugs. She wears a long flowing skirt that is tied at her waist, creating a beautiful cascade of creases. Her body is slender yet shapely and she embodies innocent beauty. She is standing a rock scooping fresh water out of long running river that resides next to her village. The jug in her left hand is tilted downwards and is ready to scoop up water as she peers down on it while she holds the other jug upright. Her hair is long and wavy, some hanging over her left shoulder. Her face is distinguished and calm. She has exquisite details in her facial features giving her a more lifelike feel enabling you to peer into her eyes and become one with the sculpture. This sculpture has a two tone brown patina with an antiqued green patina covering her skirt and is signed Collett. Condition: This sculpture is in a very good condition.
