This 14pc partial tea and breakfast service is manufactured by Wedgwood in the Napoleon Ivy pattern. The set is crafted from fine cream-colored earthenware, also known as creamware or Queen's Ware, and features a classic green transfer-printed ivy vine motif with green-lined rims and handle accents. This pattern is noted for its historical connection, having been used by Napoleon Bonaparte during his exile on the island of Saint Helena. The service consists of four cups with saucers, four small plates, a covered sugar bowl with twin handles, and a creamer with a squared handle. The undersides of the pieces bear various printed and impressed marks, including the text NAPOLEON IVY, As used by Napoleon at St. Helena 1815, WEDGWOOD, MADE IN ENGLAND, and BARLASTON.
