One set electronically tested 14KT yellow gold lady's combination cast & die struck opal and diamond necklace and earrings with a friction posts with a bright polish finish. Chain measures: 16" in length. Identified with markings of "14K". Condition is very good. Containing: Forty prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.80 - 1.50 x 0.99mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 40 Stones = 0.35ct. Clarity: SI-1 to I-1. Color: I - J, Cut is Good. Two opal doublets that are cut in a oval shaped and are inlay set, measuring 7.00 mm long x 5.00 mm wide, and 3.73 mm thick and the approximate weight is 1.15 carats. The opals have a bright, green-orange play of color (fire) in a broad flashfire pattern; a low dome; a good cut; no inclusions; consistent in their brightness and pattern; and are somewhat directional. One opal doublet that is cut in a oval shape and is bezel set, measuring 10.00 mm long x 8.00 mm wide, and 5.60 mm thick and the approximate weight is 2.00 carats. The opal has a bright, green-orange play of color (fire) in a broad flashfire pattern; a low dome; a good cut; no inclusions; consistent in its brightness and pattern; and is somewhat directional.
